Bio

Christine Eick served as the education manager for the University Risk Management and Insurance Association from 7/2018 to 1/2020. Before that, she was executive director of risk management and safety emeritus for Auburn University where she had responsibility for risk management and safety and environmental health programs. Dr. Eick has over 25 years of experience in higher education risk management. She is a frequent speaker and has presented at NACUBO, URMIA annual and regional conferences, PRIMA, RIMS, CSHEMA, and the World Captive Forum. Christine has a Bachelor of Science degree in safety and health from Clemson University, a Master of Science degree in risk management and insurance from Georgia State University, a Doctor of Education in higher education administration from Auburn University, a Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management and Assurance Services from Georgia State University, and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and the Senior Professional in Human Resources designations. Dr. Eick previously served on the board of directors for the Atlanta RIMS Chapter.
