DHS Chemical Facility Security Rule
The Department of Homeland Security published the final list of chemicals of interest included as Appendix A to the Chemical Facilities Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) in the Federal Register on November 20, 2007 making the Rule final. Institutions holding chemicals of interest in the screening threshold quantities listed in Appendix A are required to submit a Top Screen of their chemical holdings within 60 calendar days. The Department of Homeland Security is providing institutions the opportunity to request a 60 day extension to submit Top-Screen. NACUBO and CSHEMA are hosting a webinar on November 29, 2007 to discuss the Rule, Appendix A and the Top Screen submission process. Information on the webinar can be found here.

Listserv Archives
All messages to the lists are archived. Use the following links to reach the Archives:
You may need to search all three to find your archived messages. The first time you access any of the archives you will be asked for a password. This is not the same password used to access reserved areas of the URMIA web. For the archives, each person must set their own password. One of the options you'll see is to get a new password. If you don't have a password yet, click on that and follow the instructions. If you forget your password, choose "Join or leave the list" from the first menu and you'll see a logon option. Click on that and you're back at the screen where you can set a new password. Setting a new password (i.e., overwriting the one you forgot) is the same process as setting one for the first time.
