Call for Presentations

Submission Deadline is 2/1/19

Annual conference submissions are due to the URMIA National Office no later than Friday, February 1, 2019. The National Office will notify you of the final status of your submission in March 2019. If your submission is accepted and you agree to present at URMIA's 50th Annual Conference, you must also ensure that you will be available to present at the conference from September 16-19, 2019.


Presentation Teams

We accept submissions for sessions led by up to four presenters, although the average team has two speakers.

Speakers from a company or business, including Affiliate members, must work with at least one co-presenter from a college, university, or other educational institution.


Flash Sessions

Flash sessions will be scheduled again this year! A flash session allows for a narrowly focused deep dive on a single subject and allows attendees the opportunity to gather a lot of information in a short time span. These are limited to one presenter and our affiliate members may participate in this session type with no institutional partner.

If you need to update or edit your presentation submission, please contact the URMIA National Office.

Accepting Submissions for 2019

Please follow the steps below to submit your presentation for consideration.

  1. Review the Submission Guidelines.
  2. Gather the required information for online submission.
  3. Submit your presentation proposal.

You may edit your drafts and submissions until the deadline.
