Lisa Zimmaro, Esq. is the associate vice president of risk management and treasury for Temple University in Philadelphia and is responsible for the University’s property and casualty insurance programs as well as the university’s banking and treasury management. She also serves an adjunct professor in the risk management and insurance department at Temple’s Fox School of Business.
Her previous experience includes serving as the risk manager for Princeton University where she was responsible for managing workers’ compensation, property, casualty and directors and officers claims. Prior to her time at Princeton, she managed claims at a medical malpractice insurance company where she served hospitals and medical providers.
Lisa currently serves on the boards of a Vermont-based Risk Retention Group and two Bermuda-based Captives. She also currently serves on the University Risk Management and Insurance Association’s board of directors.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in humanities from Holy Family University and a juris doctor degree from Template University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
