Bio

With 20 years in health care and higher education, Philip Stack has gained extensive experience in risk management, integrated and strategic planning, project management, process improvement, organizational change, and financial and budget administration. Currently, Mr. Stack holds the position of associate vice president (risk management services) at the University of Alberta, one of Canada's leading comprehensive research universities with a consolidated budget of $1.7 billion. He is responsible for enterprise risk management, including the university's integrated planning and budgeting processes. He has been instrumental in leading the development and implementation of integrated planning and risk management processes across the institution. Mr. Stack has presented extensively on the topics of integrated planning, resource allocation models, and enterprise risk management. He has a diploma in business administration, a BA in economics and political science, and a master's degree in health services administration.
