Compliance Community Meeting: Annual Conference Recap & Looking to 2026

When:  Oct 23, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM (ET)

Join us this month as our Compliance Community Champions Marcy Huey, assistant vice chancellor at Texas Tech University System, and Elliot Young, director of institutional compliance & equal opportunity at Kansas City University, will share key takeaways and insights from URMIA's 2025 Annual Conference. This is a great opportunity to hear about the most impactful sessions and emerging issues that are shaping the future of higher education compliance.

We also invite members who attended the conference to share their own highlights – what inspired you, what challenged your thinking, and did you bring back to your institution for discussion or implementation.

During the second half of our conversation, we’ll shift focus to what’s ahead. As we prepare to wrap up 2025 and enter 2026, what are the top compliance concerns facing our institutions? Help us to identify the most pressing challenges and the resources you need to address them effectively.

You must be a member of the Compliance Community to attend this free event. Login instructions are provided for the community's members as the event date approaches as a post in the Compliance Community’s online discussion board.

URMIA's Compliance Community is open to any URMIA institutional member who is responsible for compliance risk, plays a part in overall compliance efforts on campus, or wants to learn more about compliance risk. To join, contact the URMIA Office.
