A Look at URMIA Leaders Completing Their Terms of Office
Four loyal URMIA members have served the organization on the URMIA Board of Directors and saw their terms conclude during the 2025 Annual Conference in Las Vegas.
Craig McAllister, University of Miami
As immediate past president, Craig McAllister finishes up eight years on the URMIA Board of Directors having served the last three years as president-elect, president, and immediate past president. He also chaired the Leadership Development Committee this past year.
Flo Hoskinson, Oregon Health & Science University
Flo Hoskinson has served as URMIA’s board secretary since the end of 2021 when she was appointed to the role. She excelled at producing the minutes of the board meetings and annual meetings for the association.
Juan Azcarate, Dallas College
Following a one-year appointment to the board of directors in 2021, Juan Azcarate was elected as a director in 2022 and served a three-year term. He also served as the 2025 Annual Conference Committee Chair for the Las Vegas event.
Pam Kerney, University of Tennessee System
Pam Kerney has been on URMIA’s board of directors since 2017 and wrapped up her service on the governing body at the Las Vegas conference.
Susie Johnson, now URMIA’s president-elect, and Tristan Tafolla, the association’s new secretary, both completed terms on the board in 2025, but will each continue their service to URMIA in new roles on the board of directors.
The organization is very grateful for the service these members have provided to URMIA.
