On March 16 th 2007, there will be a free day-long seminar/workshop on health, security/safety, and education abroad in Provo Utah at Brigham Young University. This workshop is sponsored by the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC): U.S. Department of State in support of colleges and universities and includes a broad group of co-sponsors. It will include presenters from the U.S. Department of State, College and University, as well as the private and NGO sectors. It is intended for education abroad administrators, staff and faculty as well as risk managers, campus security representatives, health center representatives, and legal counsel who support education abroad programs at U.S. colleges and universities. This seminar/workshop will also be applicable to NGOs and faith-based organizations that have an international presence and work with international programming.
