Connect with URMIA Meetings

Logging in to an URMIA Zoom meeting using the Zoom desktop app or Zoom mobile app is usually the easiest option. This section will focus on the desktop app specifically, but the process is similar to join from the mobile app. After you sign up for an URMIA meeting that uses Zoom, you will receive an email from URMIA Office with the Zoom Meeting link, Meeting ID, and Passcode.

When you click on the link for an URMIA Zoom meeting, it should take you to a screen that asks you to Open Zoom Meetings (the Zoom Desktop app). If you have the Zoom Meetings app downloaded on your laptop, desktop, or phone, you can click "Open Zoom Meetings" in the popup box or the blue "Launch Meeting" button.

You should already be logged into your Zoom account if you have the Zoom app downloaded, but double-check that you are logged in on the Zoom app before clicking the link to join. Then you should be let into the waiting room of the URMIA Zoom meeting, where a lobby video will be playing.

You’ll be let in the meeting by the host closer to the meeting start time. Now you’ve successfully logged into an URMIA Zoom meeting!
