Michael Bale retired as the director of risk management for Oklahoma State University. He was with the university from June 1980 to April 2018 and worked specifically in risk management since 1992. He obtained a bachelors degree in business administration and a masters degree in higher education administration from Oklahoma State University. He holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) professional accreditations, Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) from the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency. Mr. Bale is an active member in URMIA and was awarded the Distinguished Risk Manager (DRM) award and was President of URMIA October 2010 to September 2011.
