We’re excited to get together in person for the 2023 annual conference and we hope you can join us there. We realize budgets, policies, and preferences are still limiting conference travel and we are building on the success of the previous two conferences to offer a virtual attendance option again for September.

Registration is now open for all URMIA members and risk management professionals from non-member institutions. Registrants may choose in-person or virtual conference attendance. Employees whose companies are not members of URMIA may only register for the virtual conference experience at this time.

This page describes registration fees for attending the conference in Baltimore. We are pleased to also offer an interactive virtual experience for those who are unable to travel.

Registration Fees

Accommodations and airfare are not included in registration fees.

Full Conference Registration

Full conference registrations include general sessions; breakout sessions; on-demand recordings; roundtable discussions; conference breakfasts, luncheons, and refreshment breaks; and the opening and closing events.

One-Day Registration

One-day registrations include the following for the day specified during registration: general sessions; breakout sessions; and conference breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks for that day. The opening and closing event is not included. One-day registrants may add a ticket to attend the opening or closing event for an additional fee.

Guest Meal Package

The guest meal package includes the opening event, Tuesday luncheon, and closing event. Registrants must be at least 16 years old.

Register for an in-person conference experience and should your plans change, convert to a virtual attendee with ease.

Access to Recorded Sessions

We will record the general sessions and designated educational breakout sessions as noted in the schedule. Full registrants will have access to those recordings following the conference.

All In-Person Registrations

Free Hotel Cancellation (72 hours in advance)

The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront will allow you to cancel your room without penalty up to 72 hours before your arrival date.

Contingency Plan

If URMIA is unable to host the conference in Baltimore, we are prepared to convert the conference to entirely virtual. Your registration will grant you full access to that event. Hotel reservations made through URMIA's booking site will be canceled for you if URMIA cancels the conference in Baltimore.
