Bio

Greg Hunter has 37 years of experience in the insurance industry with a specialization in the higher education field. His role is to oversee the negotiation, placement, and servicing of client insurance and risk management programs. He has extensive experience in the higher education industry with clients ranging from small liberal arts institutions to multi-campus systems. He is a three time recipient of the Risk & Insurance Power Broker in Education Award. Greg is a past Chairman of the Board of Worcester State College and a former Director of the Academy Hill School, a non-profit, K-7 private school. He served on the Massachusetts Secretary of Education's Task Force for Charter Schools, the New England Aquarium Board of Overseers and the Board of the Bay Voyage Inn, a Wyndham Company Property. He has been a speaker to the Eastern Association of College and Business Officers and provided a session entitled, ""Directors & Officers and Not for Profit Organizations Liability Coverage"" URMIA conferences, the Standard & Poor's Bond Analysts Association in New York, and the Massachusetts Municipal Bond Analysts Association regarding the insurance marketplace for the higher education and healthcare industries. Mr. Hunter holds a Bachelor's degree from Worcester State College and earned his Associate in Risk Management certification from the Insurance Institute.
