Gail began her career at University of Southern California in 2015 as the Director of Insurance and Risk Management and promoted to Executive Director in 2019. She oversees the university’s insurance portfolio, identifying risks through risk assessments, implement exposure controls for risk mitigation, incident management, and claims/litigation management. Gail’s office also serves in an advisory role across both the University Park Campus and Health Sciences Campus.
Gail graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in Business and earned her Associate in Risk Management designation from the Insurance Education Association. She is currently working toward receiving her CPCU designation. Gail began her career in claims but found her passion for Risk Management. Gail has 30 years of Risk Management experience which began in the Real Estate industry at Oakwood Worldwide where she worked for 16 years.
Gail was recruited as Director of Risk Management for Interdent, Inc., a nationwide dental management company. After working at InterDent for 9 years, Gail joined Palace Entertainment, Inc, managing over 40 amusement parks, water parks and family entertainment centers nationally for 4 years and then started her career at USC.
