Dr. Jody Van Leuven is the assistant director of Systemwide Risk Management at the California State University Office of the Chancellor. In her role she assist the 23 CSU campuses in areas of Risk and Insurance, Environmental Health and Safety, Workers’ Compensation, Emergency Management and Business Continuity. Jody has over 24 years of risk and safety experience and has held leadership positions in both the public and private sector. Jody holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies where she focused her research on risk perception and risk communication.
