Heather Driscoll joined Ryerson University in 2006, building and managing the access-to-information, privacy management, and records management programs. Later she built a new framework for university policies, before moving into enterprise risk management, business continuity and governance. Heather has a Ph.D in Canadian History from the University of Alberta, an M.A. in Canadian Heritage and Development Studies, with a speciality in Native Studies, from Trent University, and an Honors B.A. in History at Huron University College at Western University. She holds the CIPP-C designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Associate Business Continuity Professional designation from the Disaster Recovery Institute.
