I started as Director of Environmental Health and Safety in 2000, with a staff of six persons. The office has now evolved into the Office of Risk Management with a staff complement of 30, including EH&S, business continuity, insurance, risk management and clinical placement risk management. I am also the chair of the CAUBO risk management committee representing over 60 institutions from across Canada. Recently CAUBO signed an MOU with URMIA to enhance collaborations between the two groups. I look forward to working with URMIA as both a member of CAUBO and as an institutional member.
