Dave previously served as Director of Risk Management at Syracuse University and Butler University and was Vice President of Higher Education for USI Insurance Services. While at Syracuse, he lead the formation of and served as Vice President of Orange Insurance LLC (Single parent insurance captive of Syracuse University). He is a member of URMIA and served as a board of director from 1997-2000 and from 2007-2010 where he chaired the Government and Regulatory Affairs Committee from 2008-2013. He served on the Syracuse Catholic Diocese Risk Management & Insurance Committee from 2013-2017 and was a Board of Director of the Syracuse University Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center from 2010-2016.
David holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. He earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from the Insurance Institute of America. He was honored with the URMIA Distinguished Risk Manager (DRM) award in 2012.
