Tech tip: Your personalized mobile schedule

As the 49th URMIA Annual Conference approaches, now is a great time to familiarize yourself with URMIA's Mobile Schedule tool and to personalize your schedule according to your interests. This is also where you can provide feedback on the sessions you attend during the conference. You can access the Mobile Schedule on the web or by installing the free mobile app.

Providing feedback and other benefits

Image of three different faces, happy to unhappy, asking user to provide feedbackFirst and foremost, logging into the Mobile Schedule empowers you to leave feedback during and immediately following educational sessions that you attend while the experience is fresh in your mind. Look for the user-friendly feedback box displayed on the session details page once the session starts. We need to hear from you!

Other benefits of using the Mobile Schedule include a personalized daily agenda, instant access to session handouts and speaker biographies, and a session map at your fingertips.

Accessing the Mobile Schedule

On the Web: Open

Mobile App:

  • Go to your source for downloading apps and search for “Sched.”
  • Install and open the Sched app.
  • In the “Search for your event” box, enter “URMIA."
  • Select the URMIA event in which you are interested.
  • Tap “My Account” to log in.

Log into the Mobile Schedule

To personalize your Mobile Schedule, you need to log into your account. Your username is your e-mail address. Attendees of the 2018 Annual Conference who are new to the Mobile Schedule app will log in with the temporary password printed with their name badge.

Adding activities to your schedule

Then select Add to My Sched to include it in your personalized Mobile Schedule. View your personalized schedule at any time by selecting My Sched in the menu (web view) or at the top of Schedule screen (app view).

Finding sessions

The Mobile Schedule gives you the power to sort sessions by track and — new in 2018 — filter sessions by core competency. We highly recommend that first-time conference attendees choose the All Foundation Sessions* menu option to find sessions and activities that will help you get the most out of your conference experience. You also have the option to filter events by date or room and search for activities by keyword.

URMIA's Mobile Schedule works on any device. We provide it for all annual and regional conferences, so exploring this tool's power now will benefit you over the long term.

The important thing to remember is that you must be logged into the Mobile Schedule via the web or the app to provide feedback. Your feedback is essential in shaping the content offered during future URMIA conferences, and the Mobile Schedule makes it easy to tell us what you think!
