Compliance Community: Building a Sustainable Digital Accessibility Program

When:  Mar 19, 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM (ET)

Carnegie Mellon University’s Digital Accessibility Office has built a sustainable accessibility program by focusing on three core pillars: raising awareness, delivering targeted training, and developing policy and process. This webinar will share CMU’s practical, compliance-informed approach to embedding digital accessibility into institutional culture while mitigating legal and operational risk. Participants will learn how strategic outreach, policy development, and staff and faculty training can work together to move accessibility beyond reactive remediation and toward long-term risk management and organizational change.
