Alyssa Keehan is the director of risk consulting and research at United Educators Insurance (UE). In this role, she oversees the work of two teams, risk consulting and risk research. These two teams are responsible for developing multimedia risk management resources and services for UE's 1600+ educational institutions to include UE's publications, consulting engagements, the Risk Management Premium Credit Program (RMPC), podcasts, and webinars.
Previously, Alyssa worked as senior risk management counsel at UE where she advised college & K12 administrators on complex liability risk management issues. In this role, she undertook numerous studies of UE’s claims and authored dozens of risk management resources--publications, webinars, and online learning programs—on key liability issues facing educational institutions. Before joining United Educators, she was the manager of business and legal issues for the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents. Alyssa holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. She earned her B.A. in politics from Princeton University and J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago.
