Amy Piccola advises institutions of higher education on matters involving issues of compliance, policy and liability, particularly with regard to student conduct matters, Title IX and other civil rights and discrimination statutes, and the Clery Act. Her experience includes handling litigation, responding to U.S. Department of Education and OCR investigations and complaints, and conducting internal fact-finding investigations and audits. Amy also advises higher education clients on the developing trend of esports on campus. Her esports experience includes reviewing esports league participation agreements, advising institutions on participation in esports tournaments, spotting legal risks, and working through the mechanics of launching collegiate esports programs.
