Risk is often subjective. Effective risk managers should be able to consciously harness their emotional intelligence when conducting risk assessments. Even when facts and statistics show otherwise on the actual probability of an outcome, risk is the emotional side. Join our session to learn to identify and combat the various factors that can influence risk decision-making. We will also learn strategies to avoid "trading risk," whereby we are blinded by the perceived risk of a particular activity and we fail to see the greater risks associated with mitigation efforts.
