Bio

Eno Oregbesan is the Director of Risk Management at Rice University, she joined Rice in November 2019. As the Director of Risk Management, she supports the university's mission by providing faculty, staff, and students risk management services. These services maximize opportunities for the campus community while encouraging and supporting practices that mitigate the risk of adverse events. Eno serves on several committees at Rice, including the Facilities Safety Committee, the Student Health Advisory Committee, Human Resource Benefits Committee, Crisis Management Team, Facilities Safety Committee, and the Facilities Planning & Engineering Construction Contracts Committee. Prior to her role at Rice, Eno worked at a multinational risk management, insurance brokerage and advisory firm, as an Assistant Director for Risk Management at a Houston based public research university and held various positions at the third largest property and casualty insurer in the United States. Eno actively volunteers on the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA) committees. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concertation in Finance from The University of Houston and a Master's in Business Administration from Texas Women's University. She also holds an Associates in Claims (AIC) and Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designations.
