Jenny Whittington has worked in the National Office since February15, 2005, when she was URMIA's first full time employee in the Bloomington location. She served the association as the assistant executive director before becoming executive director in 2007. Jenny acts on behalf of URMIA, supervises the national office staff, serves as the liaison to other organizations, and works with the board of directors to advance all association stated goals and purposes. Jenny has a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and achieved the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) in 2009. Every CAE has passed a rigorous examination on the tasks necessary for competent association management and has committed to ongoing studies to remain abreast of current practices.
