Bio

Leta Finch retired in 2018, she was the National Higher Education Practice Leader for Aon Risk Solutions, Inc. She has over 30 years experience in higher education risk management and has served as the Director of Risk Management at the University of Vermont. She was founding director of the Institute for Financial Services at Champlain College, and was an adjunct faculty member in the college’s business administration division. Prior to joining Aon, she served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Champlain Captive Management, Inc. Leta is a trustee emeriti of Champlain College, and past trustee of the American University in Central Asia and Samara State University in Russia. She is a past president of the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA), and is a recipient of URMIA’s Distinguished Risk Manager Award. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Vermont.
