Jahanna joined Grand River Solutions in July 2019 as a consultant and envisions the day that every student has access to a safe and equitable educational experience. Prior to joining Grand River, Jahanna served as the EVERFI Fellow and Graduate Assistant in the Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law and Policy at Stetson University College of Law.
As EVERFI Fellow, she co-produced webinars and wrote white papers focused on promising prevention practices in higher education. As Graduate Assistant, Jahanna co-taught a skills-based interviewing and counseling course to law students. She also led a project for the then interim dean at Stetson, focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. In this initiative, Jahanna developed an advocacy skill-building series focused on building leadership skills for law students, and implemented programing for faculty and staff.
During her time as a student at Stetson Law, Jahanna was selected for a fellowship in the Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law and Policy. Under the guidance of her mentor, Professor Peter Lake, she dedicated herself to the interdisciplinary study of federal and state policy with an emphasis on Title IX. Jahanna also established herself as a standout in Stetson Law’s #1 nationally-ranked advocacy program.
