Jason Zeck
Chief Risk Officer - Campus Life & Respondent Services Coordinator

Jason Zeck is the CRO of UCLA Campus Life within Student Affairs. Campus Life encompasses Recreation, the Community Programs Office, the Office of Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement, and Fraternity & Sorority Life. In addition to his role as CRO, Jason serves as the campus’ Respondent Support Coordinator for students, faculty and staff in Title IX matters (specifically those involving allegations of sexual harassment). His varied job responsibilities provide for a daily work experience where two days are never the same!
As CRO of Campus Life, Jason interfaces daily with students and staff regarding an assortment of issues including insurance, contracts, human resources, policy development, staff training and compliance, event planning, and the many unique situations that occur within the distinct areas of the division. He serves as a conduit to many key resources on campus including Insurance & Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Campus Counsel, and University Police. In his role as the campus’ Respondent Services Coordinator he interacts with students, faculty, and staff as the support person for those involved in Title IX matters. As the primary resource for respondents, he serves to connect those in need to valuable resources on campus, as well as to provide information on the process and accompaniment to related meetings.
Jason served on the 2016 and 2018 Student Organizations Institute faculty and was an invited speaker at the 2018 National Intramural and Recreation Sports Association (NIRSA) conference, as well as a presenter at multiple conferences over the years. He is an active member of NASPA, NIRSA and URMIA. In his free time, he enjoys exploring (with his kids) all that Southern California has to offer, as well as cruising the open waters (especially the Caribbean!)
