Jennifer Howley is the Director of Risk & Emergency Management at Rhode Island School of Design. She has worked at RISD since 2007 and has led the Risk and Emergency Management programs since 2013. She also manages the Enterprise Risk Management Process and works closely with departments across campus to ensure they have the risk management support they need whether it's reviewing contracts, policies, waivers, insurance information, implementing loss prevention strategies or assisting in the development of their continuity plans. In her time at RISD she created a formal emergency management structure and has organized teams dedicated to on-campus emergencies and international incidents. She holds her BA in Finance from East Carolina University and her ARM designation.
