Karen is a New Jersey native, born and raised. As an English major, she saw the value of an internship on her resume, and obtained one at American Re-Insurance during her last semester at college. And a career was started! After 9 years on the underwriting side, Karen then served 3 years as a personal and commercial lines broker for small jewelry companies in New York City. In 2010, she found her true calling in Risk Management at PVH Corp., where she stayed for over 9 years before joining the world of higher education Risk Management at NYU. Karen joined the Risk Management team at Princeton University in 2022, and immediately loved the campus, the history, and the people she met. Her responsibilities include insurance renewals, claims management, contract and supplier review, and departmental outreach.
