Debopom joins Temple University as the Assistant Vice President of Risk Management after serving as the Director of Risk Management & Insurance at Tufts University and the Director of Risk Management at Princeton University. At Temple, he is tasked with developing a comprehensive, proactive risk management program that limits losses to human, financial, and physical assets across domestic and international campuses. In addition to his responsibilities with Temple, Debopom is an active member of the Pinnacle Risk Retention Group, where he serves as the Vice Chair of the Operations Committee and participates in several working subcommittees. He is also an active member of Berkshire’s Higher Education/Healthcare Advisory Board. He previously served on United Educators’ Risk Management Advisory Committee. Prior to working in Higher Education, Debopom spent nearly 8 years with The Graham Company, an insurance brokerage based in Philadelphia. Before his time with Graham, he started his insurance career with MunichRe. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Economics from Boston University and graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He also holds the Associate in Risk Management designation. Outside of the office, Debopom can be found playing ice hockey or in his wood workshop crafting furniture.
